NAME
       ve-veconfig - vzctl helper script for setting various VE parameters

SYNOPSIS
       /etc/sysconfig/vz-scripts/ve-veconfig

DESCRIPTION
       The ve-veconfig script is called by vzctl(8). Its purpose is to set
       various parameters for a given VE.

OPTIONS
       Parameters  are  passed to the script in the form of environment
       variables.  The following variables can be defined:

       HOSTNM Sets VE hostname to be name.  This is done by modifying VE's
              /etc/hosts and /etc/sysconfig/network (in RedHat or RedHat-like
              based VE) or /etc/rc.config (in SuSE-based VE).

       SEARCHDOMAIN
              Sets VE resolver's search list for host-name lookup.  This
              option modifies VE's /etc/resolv.conf.

       NAMESERVER
              Sets VE name server IP address.  This option modifies VE's
              /etc/resolv.conf.

       USERPW user:password
              Sets the password for user, adding user if it does not already
              exists. Several --userpasswd options can be given.

       DIST   Name of the distribution this VE runs (like redhat-7.1). Used
              for script to do distribution-dependent setup.

DIAGNOSTICS
       The script is expected to return 0 on success, any other return code
       will be printed by vzctl.
